Tom started his career in banking as a Teller during high school. Since then, he has held many positions including Auditor, Lender, and President. He is currently the Director of Commercial Lending and oversees the Small Business Administration, Commercial Lending and Credit Departments at The Bank of Elk River.

He frequently works with lenders to come up with practical ways to meet the needs of a customer. "At the Bank of Elk River, our interactions with customers as more than just a transaction," says Tom. "It's our top priority learn about each customer and craft fair solutions that help a company reach it's maximum growth potential."

Tom's passion for commercial lending stems from his desire to learn the goals of each customer. His wealth of experience and expertise allows him to to advise owners on the appropriate steps to take their business to the next level.
