The Bank of Elk River is Partnering with Banzai, a Financial Literacy Program

The Bank of Elk River was founded on the commitment to help our community become a better place to work and live. One component of that goal is teaching the importance of financial literacy. We are partnering with Banzai, a financial literacy program, to provide in-depth lessons to help equip individuals with the knowledge and skills they need to build a solid foundation for success.

Whether you're a youth, teen, or adult, the Banzai financial literacy program is created with all age groups in mind and is now available on our website. Additionally, we are the official financial literacy partner of ISD 728 schools serving elementary, middle and high school students in the communities of Elk River, Otsego, Rogers and Zimmerman. With this partnership, we work with teachers to help students solve real-life financial problems in a safe environment and follow up with in-person question and answer sessions with our bankers.

For adults, Banzai uses budgeting simulations that are similar to those for youth and teens, only on a more advanced level. This covers a wide variety of financial concepts including identity theft, down payments, and tax returns.
