Jody Meneley Celebrates 25 Years at The Bank of Elk River
Jody Meneley, Marketing Administrative Assistant III, celebrated a quarter of a century working at The Bank of Elk River on Saturday, July 21, 2018.
Jody began working at the bank as a Teller following her high school graduation in 1993. Her initial interview consisted of a quick meeting with Debbie Smith and Sue Engholm (who are both still currently employed with the bank) at the School Street office in Elk River where she accepted the job on the spot.
Since then, she has held many other positions including Consumer Loan Processor, Commercial Loan Processor, Consumer Lender, IT Administrative Assistant, Marketing Associate, Mortgage Servicing Assistant, Special Assets Administrative Assistant, and Marketing Administrative Assistant III. She transitioned to the Marketing Department for the first time in 2006 for five years and then returned when she accepted her current position 2014. She now specializes in coordinating various bank activities, volunteer events and leads marketing projects.
“Jody is a true asset to the Bank of Elk River,” said Julia Schreifels, Assistant Vice President and Director of Marketing. “She exemplifies professionalism and we are fortunate to have someone with her skills, experience and dedication working here.”
While Jody has held many positions at The Bank of Elk River over the last 25 years, her favorite department to work in has been marketing. “I enjoy the variety that this position allows. One day, I can be organizing and distributing materials for our latest product promotion while another day I could be scooping and handing out ice cream to customers! I love having the opportunity to support the bank in so many different ways.”
